Prices are reasonable and staff is Grade A in Customer Service. What can I say? I've loved this place for a long time. We were so busy talking that we kept forgetting to focus on the menu and choose our food. Our waitress for brunch was nice and really patient with us. I see now that it says breakfast is served at Adios Cafe until 11 a.m. I said brunch and I was redirected to No Mas. When I got there and went into the cafe, I was asked if I was there for breakfast or brunch. I called the number I found for Adios Cafe on Sunday morning and asked what time brunch ended. The food itself was good - but the overall management of the restaurant was so poor I would not return.Honestly, I'm not sure if I should leave this review for No Mas Cantina or Adios Cafe. Maybe the manager was off dealing with the margarita mix crisis - but given our level of frustration the manager absolutely should have come to talk to us instead of just sending the waitress back. The waitress went to speak to the manager - she returned with the managers words (half off) but not the manager. Really though, the final straw was when an angry member of our group asked for the pitcher to be removed from the bill. Clearly there was some disconnect going on and it took our determined waitress to figure it out. It would have been very helpful if at any time in the prior hour someone would have communicated this choice to us. ![]() This detective waitress did say we could get a frozen pitcher which we opted for. I am a fairly tolerant diner and would have been annoyed had it at least been communicated. ![]() On a Friday night, I am pretty sure a Mexican restaurant should not be running out of margarita mix - that seems insane. In the end, the one waitress finally got to the bottom of the story and learned they had run out of margarita mix. In that time we asked a couple different waitresses to check on it - with no result. that pitcher was elusive for well over an hour. What was NOT good was that while we quickly ordered a pitcher of margaritas to share. While we were seated promptly, that is about all that can be said. ![]()
